Listed by University Service Day

About

NATURE AND PURPOSE OF SERVICE SITE:

Our mission is to advocate for and participate in the continued cooperative upkeep, maintenance and transformation of the Kissena Velodrome and the Park’s grounds surrounding and leading to and from [it], as an enclosed cycling track offering safe and productive healthy ride opportunities for recreational cyclists as well as provide a proper training and racing facility for competitive track cyclists. In 2019, we updated our name to Kissena Synergy to reflect our interest, advocacy and participation in serving together with community partners to maintain and improve our community green spaces.

NOTE: All volunteers will meet on campus in front of the St. Thomas More Church before going to service sites. Please plan to arrive early to sign in and receive your t-shirt. Light refreshments will be served. Transportation will be provided to off-campus sites.
